Some creatures have a sixth sense about rhythm. Mightykat is one of them. A mere three years after first getting her paws on a set of decks, Mightykat has played London, Luxembourg and Paris and holds down a number of club residencies in Montreal (notably Laika, Exit and Ministry).

Invited to participate at three editions of Festival International de Nouveau Cinema et Nouveau Media's Media Lounge, the multimedia event O-Zone at Festival International de Nouvelle Danse, the Red organised by Bad Boy Club and Les nuits at the Festival International de Jazz de Montreal, Mightykat has shared the bill with international artists like Coldcut, Swayzak, Herbert, Hex Hector, Fred Everything, Howie B., Safety Scissors and the Perlon Djs Ricardo Villalobos and Dimbiman.

'Confidence', Mightykat's debut mix cd on Haute Couture Records has been embraced by local and international critics alike for its deep, minimal funkiness.
